The Campout is an adults-only version of the summer camp experience! Imagine days filled with activities like paddleboarding, archery, arts & crafts, and exploring Vashon Island; and nights around a campfire with s’mores and good friends. This 21+ event combines the nostalgia of summer camp with a relaxing getaway to beautiful Vashon Island. Whether or not you attended summer camp as a child, this event has something for everyone.

Event Details
Schedule
Get settled in on Friday afternoon and spend the evening having dinner and doing activities. Spend all Saturday in workshops and activities, and come together in the evening for a raffle, soiree, big dinner, and evening entertainment. Sunday morning brings more food and workshops before you check out after lunch.
Activities
We offer a wide range of activities based on our theme and your choices! Your schedule is flexible, so you can decide what you want to do once you get here. (Participants may be prompted after registration to reserve their spot for activities with limited capacity that may fill quickly.)
This year, our Myths and Legends weekend will include activities such as:
- Sword Games, Storytelling, and Quests with Majestic Adventures!
- Saturday Night themed dinner, dancing, raffle, costume contest, and Karaoke Legends Battle
- Olympic Raffle Games
- Campfire, Songs, and Fancy S’mores
- Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag
- Tie-Dye
- Scavenger Hunt
- Exploring Vashon Island, with a visit to downtown Vashon to view the Camp Sealth exhibit at the Vashon Heritage Museum
- Classic camp activities like archery, waterfront, and solo & guided hikes to explore our 1.5 mile beach and 360 acres of forest
- Featured workshops from camp alumni and volunteers, such as yoga, dance, arts & crafts, foraging walks, and more.
Facilities
Meals
Meals provided this weekend include dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert on Saturday; and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the cocktail hour, dinner, and evening activities on Saturday. Meals will be served buffet-style in our dining hall. Most dietary needs can be accommodated, so please provide any dietary restrictions during the registration process. Our coffee and tea bar will also be open during this event.
Lodging
Camp Sealth’s facilities are rustic but comfortable. Our all-season cabins have heat and electricity, as well as twin beds with foam mattresses. You will need to bring your own bedding, including sleeping bags, pillows, and/or sheets/blankets. Bathrooms and showers are located in separate buildings in each cabin area. Limited Wi-Fi is available in some camp areas but not in most cabins. A limited number of accessible cabins are available. See photos of our cabins here.
For Adult Retreats, attendees are assigned housing based on preferences outlined in registration, and may stay in the same cabin as other attendees. If you are attending with friends or family on separate registrations, you may request to stay in the same cabin or a nearby one.
Location
Camp Sealth is located on Vashon Island, Washington, with 360 acres of pristine forest and over a mile of private beach along Colvos Passage. To reach Vashon Island, you will need to take a ferry from Tacoma, West Seattle, or Port Orchard. Please check the WSDOT website for ferry schedules and ticket prices.
