We’ll see you next year for The Campout in 2024! Due to low enrollment, our event this year has been canceled but never fear, we’ll be in touch soon with other ways to visit Camp Sealth. Join our newsletter for all the latest updates.
Grownups – this one’s for YOU!
This is an adults-only, glammed up version of the summer camp experience! Can you think of a better way to send off the summer than spending a few days on Vashon Island and reliving the best parts of your childhood summer camp experience? This event is open to everyone – camp and staff alumni, friends of camp, or anyone 21+ who wants to enjoy a relaxing weekend enjoying the outdoors.
This is the perfect event to attend with a significant other, group of friends, past camp friends, or by yourself! If you attended or worked at camp, relive some of your favorite camp memories: PJ Breakfast, a dress-up theme meal, songs around a campfire, activities like archery, paddle boarding, horseback riding, and so much more!
The Campout Gives Back
Event proceeds, merchandise sales, and donations from The Campout directly benefit Camp Sealth youth by helping us reinvest in facility upgrades, funding our campership program, and investing in high-quality staff that are needed to ensure camp’s future. Past Campout events have collectively raised more than $15,000 to support Camp Fire’s mission. Even if you can’t attend the event, help us raise these much-needed dollars by making a donation here.

The Weekend is Yours to Customize
The CampOut is packed with exciting activities for you to choose from! You can choose to make your weekend as action-filled or relaxing as you like. Upon arrival and throughout the weekend you will be able to join fun activities at your own pace. Ready to take the plunge into the Puget Sound, or float along in a canoe or kayak? Our waterfront, along with a mile and a half of private, pristine beach awaits you! Aim an arrow on the archery range, get creative and crafty with special arts and crafts projects, or hit the trails and explore our 350+ acres of enchanting old growth forests.
For summer camp aficionados, we’ll have opportunities for camp songs, costumes (pack those Pink PJs!), s’mores, campfires, friendship bracelets, tie-dye, and more.
The Fun is Just Beginning – We’ve Got Some Special Things Planned
Specialty activities that are offered ONLY at the Campout include Friday evening activities like night paddle boarding (with bioluminescence!) or glow-in-the-dark archery. Team trivia in on deck as well, with board games and a campfire to top off the night.
On Saturday, we’ll be channeling Dolly for our Western Glam theme dinner with beer, wine, and cider, along with sunset golden-hour beach photos, evening karaoke, FUNdraising raffles, and gourmet s’mores.

Meals & Accommodations
We’re doing the cooking!
All meals are included, and nearly all diets can be accommodated; however, those guests with extreme allergies or strict diets may need to bring food to supplement. A full-service coffee, tea, and hot chocolate bar will be available to keep you energized throughout your stay along with special snacks and treats throughout the weekend!
Cabins at Camp
Camp Sealth has cabins and rooms that can accommodate groups as small as two and as large as ten. If you’re attending solo our just with one buddy, you may be placed in a shared cabin, just like summer camp! All cabins are enclosed with windows or screens and have electricity. You will have a choice between a heated or open-air space. In most cases, bathrooms and shower houses are located in a separate building, adjacent to each unit. Accessible housing is available.
Private rooms for 1-3 people are available for a $50 fee. Space is limited, so register early for this option!
