It’s never too early to get ready for spring! Spring Escape is an opportunity for alumni, parents, friends of Camp Fire, or anyone age 18+ to spend the weekend at camp, explore the outdoors, try some new activities, and connect with friends!
Schedule
Check-in Saturday morning and enjoy a full schedule of workshops, lunch and dinner, plus evening activities and a silent auction. Stay overnight and join us for more activities and brunch Sunday morning before checking out. There are also options to stay over on Friday night or attend for the day only on Saturday.
Workshops
Spring Escape features a wonderful variety of workshops – whether you’re a crafter, foodie, outdoor adventurer, or just want to try something new, there’s something for you.
Workshops for 2024 will be announced when registration opens – view the 2023 workshops for an idea of what we offer.
Silent Auction
A highlight of Spring Escape is a silent auction to raise money for Camp Fire events, particularly for Special Family Camp, a retreat for families with children with special needs. Typical auction items include handmade artwork, wine, gift baskets, and other goodies! To donate an item to the auction, either complete this online form, or contact Pat Kishline at p.kishline@comcast.net at least one week prior to the event.
Souvenir T-Shirts & Sweatshirts Available!
A selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts are available by pre-order (order during the registration process) which include the Spring Escape weekend design. We are offering T-shirts ($15) and sweatshirts ($35), all in blue with white lettering (exact color is subject to availability at time of ordering). Sizes adult small through 3XL; sweatshirts come in 1/4 zip, full-zip, and hoodies.
Craft Exchange
We offer a craft exchange table at Spring Escape – bring any miscellaneous or leftover craft supplies you have to share, and check out what other people have brought. Any leftover materials will be donated.
