Adventure – Camp Fire Central Puget Sound

Age: Ages 8-11

Adventure Year One

Age: Ages 8-11

Projects are designed for children ages 8-11 years old. While completing projects this year children will learn more about Camp Fire and be able earn Camp Fire Beads at meetings and on their own. Camp Fire members choose their Camp Fire nicknames this year. In addition, youth continue to complete 1 project from each trail and a service learning project. They also participate in the candy sale and outdoor/camping event to earn their end of year award.

Adventure Year Two

Age: Ages 9-11

Projects are designed to follow Adventure Year 1. This year youth will have numerous opportunities to become leaders and decision makers while they complete their Advanced Project and serve in a Camp Fire Leadership role. Youth will also gain a stronger sense of identity as they create their own symbolgram. Youth will also continue to complete 1 project from each trail and a service learning project and participate in the candy sale and an outdoor/camping event.

Adventure Year Three

Age: Ages 10-11

Projects are designed to follow Adventure Year 2. By now youth are leading the opening and closing ceremonies and voting on the projects that they will complete. Leaders may even give youth small activities to lead throughout the year. Youth are still working to accomplish their end of year award and in doing so will complete the New Venture Project only offered to Adventure Year 3.
