Camp Fire members include our Group Program youth participants, leaders, and adults. By becoming a part of our Camp Fire community, you will gain access to our Membership Benefits:
- Earn and purchase Camp Fire emblems
- Access Camp Fire curriculum, resources, and staff support
- Attend Camp Fire events for free or at a reduced rate
- Opportunity to participate in the annual Candy Fundraiser
- Insurance coverage for events, group meetings, and while selling candy
Additionally, take a $25 discount off of Camp Fire Day Camp registration fees.
Yearly Membership Fees & Optional Group Dues
Membership follows the school-year calendar and is effective each year from September through August. There are no prorated membership fees for registering late in the year with the exception of new-to-Camp Fire members and groups, who may register in the summer for the following program year.
Membership Fees
For the 2020-2021 program year, youth pricing is tiered as follows for one child and children in the same family:
- 1 Child: $50
- 2 Children: $75
- 3 Children: $80
- 4 Children: $85
- 5+ Children: $95
- 6+ Children: $100
Leader and Adult member fees are $10.
Optional Group Dues
Camp Fire Groups may elect to request dues on a per meeting, monthly, or yearly basis to cover the expenses of materials or fees. Groups are also encouraged to participate in the Candy Fundraiser to help earn treasury funds that can be used for group expenses.
Additional Expenses
You may wish to purchase Recognition Awards & Uniform items for your youth. These items range in price from less than $1 to about $20 for a vest or other apparel item. Additionally, there may be fees associated with certain events, such as weekend retreats to Camp Sealth or admission fees for activities.
Financial Aid
Camp Fire believes that all kids, regardless of their financial situation, should be able to participate in our programming. Financial assistance is available for families in need thanks to generous donations from businesses, community organizations and friends of Camp Fire. Families who are awarded financial aid for Group Program will receive support for membership fees as well as emblem or uniform purchases; however, participation in the Candy Fundraiser is required.
