Tacoma check-in is a more convenient option for South Sound families. Check-in at the Pt. Defiance Ferry Terminal, then campers will ride with staff in the camp vans across the ferry and to camp.

Where To Go
Tacoma drop-off and pick-up will take place in the lower Pt. Defiance ferry terminal parking lot, between the ticket booth and Anthony’s Restaurant. When arriving at the ferry terminal, drive all the way down towards the water (do not get in the ferry line), turn left at the bottom and park in an open spot along the water. Camp staff will be set up at one of the picnic tables along the water.
Pick-Up Time
9:50 a.m.*
Pick-up is in the same location as check-in. Children will only be released to their parents or authorized pick-up people. Photo ID or your check-out card (given to you at check-in) is required.

–Saturday July 4, 2026 (Session 1) pick up will be at 9:00 AM due to The World Cup & July 4th
–Saturday August 1, 2025 (Session 5) pick up will be at 9:00 AM due to Seafair Weekend Festival.
