Teach and lead a variety of specialized camp activities including archery, arts & crafts, low ropes challenge course, bouldering wall, nature and outdoor living skills. All certification is provided by camp, but previous experience with at least one of the activity areas is required.
Lead campers enrolled in the specialty boating program, ages 11 to 17, with a focus on canoeing, windsurfing, and sailing. Lifeguard certification is required, plus experience with boating and water activities.
Lead campers in backpacking and outdoor skills for in-camp and out-of-camp adventure trips, ages 10 to 17. Camping and outdoor skills are required. WFA or WFR certification and valid driver’s license is required.
Lead teens in the leadership development programs including CIT, RSIT and High School Interns, ages 15 to 18. Previous experience with camp counseling and teens is required.
Teach and lead all waterfront activities including canoeing, rowing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, windsurfing, and sailing on an open saltwater beach. Lifeguard certification is required, plus previous experience in one or more of the waterfront activities.
Teach and lead horseback riding and horse-related activities including arena lessons, trail rides, and ground lessons. Previous experience with teaching and a high level of competence in riding is required (Western preferred).
Support the overall operation of camp in a variety of areas, including dining hall, pack-out food, camp store, and office. Rotate through each of these areas on a weekly basis. Previous kitchen experience is required. Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card is required.
Take pictures of camp activities, organize photos and upload to camp’s website, and put together a weekly slide show for campers and staff.
Serve food, wash dishes, and keep the kitchen clean; also assist with camper supervision and unit activities including nighttime supervision and covering time off for counselors. About half time in each capacity. Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card is required.
Prepare meals daily for up to 400 people. Prep, Assistant, and Head Cook positions are available, depending on experience and qualifications. Start dates vary by position. Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card is required.
Supervise counselors and rovers in camper units, coach staff in working with campers. Previous camp counseling experience required.

Support campers with physical, developmental, and behavioral disabilities by talking to parents and working with counselors. Expertise in working with children, especially kids with special needs, is required. Driver’s license required.
Supervise a team of support specialists and kitchen assistants, and coordinate operations for dining hall, dishwashing, camp store, laundry, and pack-out food.
Supervise program specialists, coordinate and oversee specialized activity areas such as archery, arts & crafts, low ropes challenge, nature, and outdoor living, maintain supplies and equipment. Coordinate camp-wide activity schedules and all-camp events.
Supervise waterfront specialists, coordinate waterfront schedules, and oversee all water activities; maintain high safety standards. Also supervise campers and staff in Kiwanis (boating specialty unit). Lifeguard certification required.
Supervise riding specialists, coordinate riding schedules, feed and care for herd of 22 horses. Maintain high safety standards. CHA instructor certification (or equivalent) is recommended.
Supervise rotating health care staff, ensure policies are followed, maintain health records and manage camper medications. Driver’s license is required, advanced health care certification (CNA, nursing student, RN, EMT, WFA) is preferred.
High school students ages 16 and older can volunteer in the Camp Sealth LEAD Program. LEADs must attend a required training week, then volunteer for three additional weeks, earning up to 200 service hours.
Provide routine and emergency health care for campers and staff, working under a physician’s standing orders. Health care certification required: RN, LPN, student nurse, CNA, EMT, paramedic, or physician. Health care staff may volunteer one or more weeks, and may exchange volunteer service for camp tuition.
Support counselors in working with kids with special needs; work with the Inclusion Coordinator to implement Inclusion support plans as a counselor or support staff. Previous camp counseling and experience with children with special needs is required.
Direct a one week day camp for children in grades K – 7 with volunteer adult & teen staff. Plan and conduct your day camp in accordance with Camp Fire philosophy, policies, standards and requirements. At least 2 prior seasons of administrative or supervisory experience in an organized camp required to apply.
Coordinate and lead a leadership development program for CITs. Extensive experience with teens and leadership development is required to apply.
Assists Site Directors as needed! Duties can include a Registration Assistant, Purchaser, Equipment Supervisor, Counselor, Specialist etc. Basically a jack of all trades! May hold one position throughout the week or fill in where needed. This position will also run the extended care program.
