The Teen Leadership Coordinator will assist the site director in implementing camp programs, create and implement activities in a variety of program areas, and acts as part of camp administrative team to ensure camp program meets all objectives and follows applicable standards and policies. The Teen Leadership Coordinator will work directly with 8th-10th grade students.

Day Camp Healthcare Supervisor

The Healthcare Supervisor must be a Licensed Physician, Physician’s Assistant, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic or Military Medic. License/certification must be current and valid for the state of Washington. The Healthcare Supervisor will assist in giving out medications, any and all first aid, and help with risk management.

The Counselor position will assume responsibility for a unit of campers and guide their experiences through a youth/adult democratic planning process, participates with and supervises unit in their activities, incorporates teaching of camp and other special skills and an appreciation of the outdoors into the program, and is responsible to lead and assist with the teaching of activities to meet session goals; actively participates in all program areas, as assigned.

Waterfront Specialist

Teach and lead all waterfront activities including canoeing, rowing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, windsurfing, and sailing on an open saltwater beach. Lifeguard certification is required, plus previous experience in one or more of the waterfront activities.

Riding Specialist

Teach and lead horseback riding and horse-related activities including arena lessons, trail rides, and ground lessons. Previous experience with teaching and a high level of competence in riding is required (Western preferred).

Direct a one week day camp for children in grades K – 7 with volunteer adult and teen staff. Plan and conduct your day camp in accordance with Camp Fire philosophy, policies, standards and requirements. At least 2 prior seasons of administrative or supervisory experience in an organized camp required to apply.
