Teens entering 11th or 12th grade in the fall can volunteer at Camp Fire Day Camps as Teen Counselors. With your co-counselor, you will be assigned a group of campers and lead them through their week at Day Camp. On some occasions Teen Counselors will assist at various program areas such as outdoor cooking, arts & crafts and more. Teen Counselors will earn community service hours for this program.
All Teen Counselors must attend training prior to their volunteer week. We highly recommend the LEAD Training Week at Camp Sealth for teens who have not volunteered at Camp Fire Day Camps before. This training is specifically designed to provide teens with new skills to help them prepare for their future roles in Camp Fire and beyond. All other Teen Counselors must attend an Off-Site Day Camp Training held at various times and locations throughout the spring and early summer.
