BIPOC families, join us for a FREE Family BBQ & Play Day and spend time together as a family in the outdoors! Offered as part of the S’more Diversity Family Camp, the BBQ & Play Day is free of charge and open to all ages.

Arrive after 10:00 am and join us for a big group game, followed  by a BBQ lunch and field games! Spend time with your family at Camp Sealth on Vashon Island, with 360 acres of pristine forest, wetlands, and waterfront right on Puget Sound. Vashon Island is accessible by car ferry from Tacoma, West Seattle, or Port Orchard.

Camp Fire is committed to providing safe and enjoyable outdoor opportunities for BIPOC youth and families, to increase the accessibility of outdoor programs to BIPOC youth and the representation of BIPOC youth in camp programs. By offering S’more Diversity Family Camp, our goal is to help BIPOC families become more comfortable in the outdoors and to increase access for BIPOC youth to camp programs.
