Join us as we celebrate the National Art Experience’s exploration of water. Learn about water and the role it plays in our lives through artistic expression. From watercolors to sea creature friends, find an art form that sparks your creative self!

Camp Fire members will even be able to earn the National Art Experience emblem by completing at least three of the projects during one of the sessions.

About the Event

On Saturday, April 13th, Camp Fire Central Puget Sound will be at Dr. Jose Rizal Park hosting art workshop sessions at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM where youth can register to join and experience different forms of art as we explore the nature of water. Activities include making your own raincloud mobiles, acrylic and watercolor painting, the basics of beaded jewelry, and more!

How to Register

Register below by selecting the session you want to participate in and providing the youth details. Caregivers do not need to register (unless you want to participate in the activities too!).

The cost to participate in one of the art workshop sessions is $25, just covering the supplies for the activities for the day!

For registered Camp Fire members, the National Art Experience emblem is included in the registration cost.

What is the National Art Experience?

Camp Fire’s National Art Experience was developed to encourage creativity and self-expression, inviting young people to use the arts to explore their own skills, strengths, and identities. Camp Fire hopes that by participating in the National Art Experience, young people will connect more deeply to themselves, their communities, and to the natural world.

Camp Fire members and groups often participate in the National Art Experience independently, but this year we are excited to have the opportunity to get together in person, experiencing art side-by-side, while exploring the nature of water and discovering new skills!
