Explorers! gives your camper the opportunity to try a little bit of everything our specialty programs have to offer. Sleep out in the woods like Adventure, go on an afternoon canoe excursion like Kiwanis, and participate in nighttime archery like Nocturnal. The Explorers! Mini Session of fun gives your child the chance to try it all without the commitment of a full session.
Explorers! is designed for campers to get comfortable being immersed in the outdoors as well as learn basic outdoor living skills. Part of the session is spent in the woods, participating in outdoor skills workshops like fire-building, orienteering, and shelter-building. The other part is spent in main camp doing traditional camp activities as well as Explorers! specific expeditions.
