Spend a Week in the Woodlands!
Campers will have the time of their lives this summer at Woodland Park Day Camp! Join us at this centrally located camp which is next to the Woodland Park Zoo, southwest of Green Lake. Woodland Park is the perfect place for campers to explore the outdoors, play and make new friends!
Thanks to our wonderful volunteers and staff, each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience, full of fun activities like some of the ones you will see below! Every week, campers will have a special theme that will inspire our special activities and guests. Guest appearances in the past have included visits from the Reptile Man, the local fire department, and talented artists who have taught campers about their unique art techniques! Other themes we’ve had include “Crazy Hair Day” and PJ Day!”
• Nature Hikes
• Arts & Crafts
• Group Games
• Outdoor Cooking
• Camp Songs Singalongs
• Homemade Ice Cream
Woodland Park’s camp spirits are Polly and Patrick, leprechauns who live in the woods.
Campers create button blankets which they decorate with their group name, number and anything else they want to include! Groups earn buttons for varied contributions to the goodwill of the camp thus teaching the importance of community and giving back. Each group decides to do with their button blanket at the end of the week. Some groups cut them up so each youth gets a piece and some groups give them to their counselors as a thank you.
