A Week of Fun & Outdoor Exploration!

Every week, campers will have a special theme that will inspire our special activities and guests. Blyth Day Camp is a fantastic place that offers scenic views, woodland hikes, and fun in the sun!

Join our Counselor-in-Training Program!

This week-long camp is for incoming 8th graders interested in learning youth development and leadership skills.

Through interactive workshops counselors-in-training will discover their specific leadership style and how to collaborate in a team atmosphere. Then they will get the chance to put their skills into action through planning camp activities and shadowing activity specialists and counselors.

Training topic cover tips and best practices for interacting with parents, SMART goal settings, being a child’s superhero and others to become a positive camp leader.  Youth behavior management basics and age group characteristics will also be covered.

Goals of the CIT program

●  Youth will grow in confidence and gain leadership skills.

  • Youth will learn and observe behavior management.
  • Youth will gain skills for working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Youth will develop an understanding of how to work effectively and compassionately with children.

Camp Fire relies on our amazing adult and teen volunteers to make the magic of Day Camp happen for kids each summer! Volunteering is easy and fun and the best part – making a difference in the life of a child! Join us this summer!

All of our Day Camps have opportunities for both adults and teens entering grades 9-12.
