Hanna Mandt has a long history with Camp Fire that started in the second grade. Her roots run deep as her grandmother, mother and nephews are all alums.
In 2007, she became a volunteer group program leader to “The Shining Stars.” She mentored this group of young women all the way through high school graduation including helping them earn their WoHeLo awards.
For the past year, Hanna has been leading a new group called “The Flickers” who meet weekly. They sold enough candy this year to earn their way to a week of horse camp and completed a huge service project as well as coordinated events for You and Me Camp at Camp Sealth.
Hanna has also volunteered for just about everything that she can in our council including at our Day & Overnight Camps, Group Program events and Adult Weekend retreats. She has also mentored other teens with their WoHeLo projects. Her long tenure with our council means she is an incredible resource.

This summer, Hanna was awarded with her 10-year plaque at Camp Sealth, celebrating her long-standing commitment and dedication to Camp Fire youth.
Hanna shares, “I am passionate about Camp Fire. I am honored that my family members have strongly supported my volunteer efforts with Camp Fire over the years with both their time and money and that they donate every year in my honor.”
Of her incredible impact on so many kids, she adds “Helping is when I am happiest.”
