Winter has just begun, but we’re already planning a great weekend to help you jump start into spring! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our 18 and older crowd to join us at Camp Sealth this March 2nd-4th for the Spring Escape! The Spring Escape is your chance to enjoy a weekend getaway and try some unique activities that you normally wouldn’t see at camp. You can view our list of playshops here and discover our favorite things about attending the Spring Escape, below!
Top 5 Reasons to Escape to Camp Sealth This Spring:
1. You need a get-away.
It’s March – and it’s almost spring. You’re tired of the rainy bleakness of winter, and you just need a little something to get you through until summer. How about hot cocoa, a guided tour of Vashon Island (with wine), or some cozy crafting by the fire?
2. You want to learn something new.
Whether you’re a foodie, gardener, crafter, or an outdoor explorer, Spring Escape is guaranteed to have something you’ve never done. Want to try Danish Cooking? Chainmail inspired jewelry? Hypertufa garden planters? Choose from more than 25 different workshop options.
3. Your kids won’t be there.
That’s right, this weekend is all for the adults – no kids allowed! Personal care is important – take some time for yourself and enjoy camp without having to worry about anyone else.
4. You don’t have to cook.
Three scrumptious meals are prepared for you, and you don’t even have to wash the dishes. Meals include plenty of options, and we accommodate nearly any special diet!
5. You can’t get enough camp.
Whether you’re a parent, volunteer, or alum, you just can’t get enough camp in your life. Imagine the sandy beach, the gorgeous sunsets, the smell of Rounds Hall (it’s always the same), the camaraderie of old friends, and the chance to make new friends.
We Hope to See You There!
