Each year Camp Fire Central Puget Sound partners with Camp Fire Orca, serving Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor, and Pacific Counties in Washington State, to both promote Camp Fire and to show off the amazing projects that our members do both in their groups and on their own at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup. Members can volunteer to lead a demonstration or submit entries to be judged against other Camp Fire members from both councils.
Each Camp Fire youth can submit up to 20 entries! Ribbons are awarded by age group and by category, and there are over 200 different categories to enter. A sweepstakes rosette is given to the entrant with the most blue ribbons from multiple categories in at least five different divisions, and a Best in Category ribbon will be awarded in each Division. All entries need to have been completed within the last year.
Lego Creations (both following instructions or your own design), old homework projects, poems, posters, artwork, items made at Camp Sealth or Day Camp, and even your symbolgram can be entered!
If you completed a project as a group your group can enter it in the G Division.
