The 2017 Camp Fire National Art Project:

We are so excited to share with you the winners of the 2017 Camp Fire National Art Project! The artwork below was submitted by Camp Fire Group Members in our very own council, and was voted upon by our Seattle staff.

This year’s theme was Painting, and we got some amazing entries! Camp Fire Group Members were invited to create and submit their own masterpieces to our council. Submitting a piece of art is one of the 10 creative projects included in the National Art Experience. These projects are meant to encourage youth to explore the world of art as a hobby or a career. Some of the activities this year included taking a field trip and observing artwork, talking to a professional artist, discovering the different kinds of paint, recreating art with technology and much more!

Youth who complete at least 4 out of 10 activities on this year’s list will earn their Camp Fire National Art Experience emblem!
