Striving to Create a Strong Camp Community
It brings us much excitement to introduce one of our dedicated volunteers, Christine, who has attended Camp Fire Day Camps for seven years! This summer she will be at Blyth Day Camp (a.k.a. Camp Coyote) volunteering as the Camp Site Director!
Favorite Part About Day Camp:
Christine’s favorite part about volunteering at camp is working with all of the amazing volunteers who help make camp possible. She loves seeing campers and volunteers happy as well as knowing they have been given the opportunity to develop their own leadership skills!
Why Christine Volunteers:
In the beginning, Christine chose to volunteer so she could be there and spend time with her kids. Over the years, she has chosen to continue volunteering because of her fellow volunteers. She says they are amazing people who all strive to create a strong camp community and they have grown together and become a big camp family!
Favorite Camp Food:
Box Oven Brownies
Favorite Camp Song:
My Name is Fred (and I Work in a Button Factory)
Favorite Camp Activity:
