Araceli Wagner, “Blossom” will be joining us as a new staff this year as a counselor! Though new to Camp Sealth, she is by no means new to camping or Camp Fire. We’re excited to have her energy and past experience as she joins us on staff. Let’s learn some more about her!
What’s your name?
Where are you from?
What’s your job at Camp Sealth this summer?
Are you looking forward to anything about it particular?
Getting to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest and spending a summer with wonderful children and staff!
What do you do when you’re not at camp?
I am a student at the University Of Kansas City MO studying elementary education and work for Missouri’s Campfire Council.
If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Tough question, since I am a foodie! But I would say a strawberry oatmeal smoothie .
What is your absolute favorite activity you’ve done at camp?
My favorite activity at summer camp would be hiking and exploring the trails. I enjoy being in nature and the serenity of the woods.
Tell us a camp story, or one of your fondest camp memories:
So many! One that comes back to me is when I had a skit with my fellow counselors and campers and we had a pirate theme. We all dressed up in silly costumes and preformed for each cabin group. It was so much and we all had the goofiest pirate voices.
What does camp mean to you?
It’s a place to make friendships and lifelong memories. It also keeps camp traditions alive and its a place were I can call home away from home.
