Help CJ Reach His Goal!
CJ is a 4th generation Camp Fire member, and this is his 5th year selling candy! His favorite part of the Candy Sale is talking to the community and sharing his knowledge of Camp Fire and his love of camp. He has set the amazing goal of selling 1,000 boxes of candy so he can attend Camp Fire’s Day Camp at Tall Timbers, Starflight/Adventure Weekend and Camp Sealth this summer! Some of his favorite activities at camp include archery and exploring the forest. He also enjoys getting to know his counselors and fellow campers.
CJ is a member of the Camp Fire group The Starbrights and says that his group always laughs and has a great time being silly together. He learns something new at every Camp Fire meeting. Every year the group attends Dad/Kid Camp at Camp Sealth together. They also have the tradition of playing Find the Eagle at the end of each of their meetings.
One day when he’s older, CJ hopes he will have kids and they too will be a part of Camp Fire!
How You Can Help:
The Camp Fire Candy Sale will run from January 27th – February 20th, 2017. CJ will be out in the community at various locations throughout the sale. If you would like to support him or other individual sellers via an online purchase, you can leave a note in the notes section during the checkout process, or you can click the link in your emailed receipt which will take you to a credit page. There you can select a group from the drop down menu or write in an individual seller not found on the list.
Group Programs:
Starting your own Camp Fire Group is a great way for youth to learn fun curriculum, provided by Camp Fire, at their Group Meetings. Curriculum based activities include playing games, learning about the outdoors, cooking, science experiments, art projects, community service, and so much more!
