An Invitation – From Camp Sealth Alumni to Camp Sealth Alumni!

Give Back to Camp Sealth & help ensure that campers will sing, sail, hike, dream and grow for generations to come. 

Hello Camp Sealth Alumni!

During this season of giving, many of us find ourselves thinking about the place where we learned to be brave, to be silly, to look out for one another, and where we developed a sense of stewardship for the natural world: Camp Sealth.

Whether we were hiking to Uncle Wigglebottom’s cabin or Heaven, singing at Council Fire, or pinning one last pin on our staff tie, we all remember at least one moment that made camp feel like its own kind of magic. 

But those experiences didn’t happen by accident. They were made possible by a community that cared deeply about Camp Sealth’s mission.

And today, that community includes all of us. No matter if we traveled to camp via the Virginia V or DaBoata, as Alumni, we play a vital role in ensuring the heart of Camp Sealth remains the same: a place where young people grow in confidence, independence, and community. 

Your gift today helps maintain safe cabins, care for camp’s 400 acres of shoreline and forest, preserve beloved traditions, and create new adventures for tomorrow’s campers. Every gift of time, talent, or resources strengthens the Sealth experience for the young people who are the future of Camp Sealth. 

We are inviting you today to make a gift in support of two areas: 

💙 The Jan Milligan Memorial Fund: supporting projects throughout camp, including essential repairs to the main boat dock by replacing aging pylons, ensuring safe access for waterfront programs, and a safe place for “DaBoata” to dock as it brings campers to the shores of Sealth.

🌲 The Greatest Needs Fund: giving Camp Fire the flexibility to meet our greatest needs (like operating expenses and financial assistance) and sustain programs that help campers grow in confidence, independence, and community.

So much good is happening at Camp Sealth, and we’re grateful to share a few highlights from a truly memorable year:

• Summer camp is thriving. We welcomed more campers last summer than any year since 2019, and summer 2026 registration just opened and is already 2/3 full!
• Our forest is protected for generations to come. Camp Fire and King County completed the final conservation easement, ensuring Sealth’s natural spaces will never be developed. Learn more about this transformative partnership. 
• More ways for families to belong. New programs such as Proud 2 Be Me Family Camp, Outdoor Adventures day programs, and Know the Night, are helping families experience the magic of Sealth together. 
• Transformative improvements are underway. Significant grants and generous individual donations are making real change: a new fire suppression system in Rounds Hall, refreshed bathrooms, new water heaters, a renovated Porky’s (on the hill), and the first steps toward updating DaBoata dock and the waterfront. With continued support from alumni like you, even more progress is on the way in 2026.
• Kanga Days of Service. It was wonderful to be together with many of you in May when we celebrated Jan Milligan’s life and legacy with a weekend at camp. Between service projects, reconnecting with old friends, and gathering in the sun at Green Circle, the event filled our hearts. Her legacy now lives on through Kanga Days of Service and the Jan Milligan Memorial Fund, both supporting the place she loved.
